Minor White_Buildings
I think the photograph that best represents the job of showing architecture is the second photograph. I like the second photo's angle better, because you can see the work of the building better and the designs on it as well. In the first photo you can't really appreciate the architecture because all you can see is the windows basically, but the second photo you can see multiple buildings and the street as well. You can see the design of the building better than the first building, you can see how it was made and how the architect was thinking about making them. The two buildings doesn't really mean anyhting to me. I don't know what they are of and I don't know if it was an historical landmark now or whether it was just a building were peopl lived. I chose these two photos beacause the have differences and similarities that you can compare and contrast and that these two photos are great photos for buildings to compare.
Eliot Porter_Favorite Season
This photograph represents my favorite season beacause it represents fall, it shows the reflection of the colors of the leaves and the leaves itself on top of the water. Some aspects of this photo that are my favorite are the colors, I like all the bright and bold colors like yellow, orange and red. These are deffinetely represented in the photo, it does a good job of representing fall. Some elements and principles that are that are at work in this photo are the colors and how the photo is shot and just the reflection makes the photo great. I chose this photo beacause it shows a great photo for fall, it has all the colors and the leaves in it. I think that the photographer was thinking about this season.

Dorothea Lange_Powerfull Emotion
This photograph makes me feel sad. I think this photograph would make other people feel this way, because it's sad, it was taken back in the depression times and people were going homeless and didn't have any food or jobs at the time. Some people sold their car tires for money so that they could buy food for their families. It doesn't conjure any moments in my life, we always had food and a roof over our head. We've never been homeless or we were to the point were we had to sell our stuff just to have dinner or to have a deascent meal. Elements and principles in this photo that make this photograph sad and depressing is that in this photo the mother has kids and their homelss, they have no where to sleep or no food to eat. She can't take care of her kids because she barely had any money.
Jerry Uelsmann_Creppy
I think this photo is creppy because of how its dark and that it's in black and white, and you just see three girls just standing there doing nothing. Also, how the middle girl is arshed in the picture it looks like shes going to attack somebody or chase somebody down. The elements and the principles that contribute to this photo would be the color and just how she captured and took the photo. The color makes the photo more creepier and how the little girls are just standing there not doing anything but starring and just how it's dark in the photo. It gives off this creepy feeling to me. I think what will happen next in the photo will be that the middle little girl will take off running or something or they'll all just disappear. I would hang this photo in my house, I think it's an amazing photo and I really like it.

Andre Kertesz_Effective Color
The colors in this photo are very bold and stand out to me. The colors are effective by making this photo great, the colors suit the photo, i wouldn't change anything about the colors in this photo, it makes it stand out and makes you really look at the photo. I think if the color scheme was different then i don't think the photo would be a very good one, i think the colors are great the way the are. It makes the photo different and interesting to look at.
